We are a family and veteran-owned business providing a comprehensive range of heating, cooling and plumbing services. The business was started in 1919 by my grandfather, Steve Fergelec, who handed it to his son Stephen. He continues to operate the business with his two sons, Steve Jr and Anthony. 

After the passing of Steve Junior the business was handed to Anthony. We decided to change the name to Comfy Kozy® Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing in 2007. We now have multiple staff members serving our customers in the Pittsburgh to Greensburg areas.

Our President

The president, Anthony Fergelec, had started working in the business at the age of seven and after High School joined the US Navy and is a Persian Gulf War veteran. He is also an instructor at the associated master plumbers of Allegheny County Plumbing Apprentice program, holding a master plumber and master mechanical license. He is also ASSE certified for backflow prevention testing and installation. Anthony is also an ASSE backflow prevention instructor and proctor for the ASSE certification program. Anthony is also Nasco certified to perform dye tests and video inspections of building drains and building sewers. Anthony oversees the day-to-day operations of the business. We strive to provide top-quality products and services that you can trust. We value our customers’ time. As an example, when the technician is en route to your house, you will receive a text message notifying you that they are on their way. You also receive a text message when the work is completed for the day. The key to our success is hard work, dedication and above all, honesty and fairness to our customers. Our Phone answers 24 hr a day, and we utilize an AI system to answer the calls after hours, where you can leave a message which is texted to the office, or you can even schedule your service call with the AI, and if you have an emergency let the answering service know so it will text the on-call technician. 

Our technicians and plumbers drive a fully stocked rolling warehouse with most of the state-of-the-art tools and test equipment.
